” I’m sure there is a reasonable answer for canceling the date” I said.
” He said it’s because he didn’t feel like going out” Leann answered, and I could see the lightning flashing in that dark cloud.
” Oh” was all I could say. Sam jump into the empty seat next to Leann.
” There are two options to this” Sam began.” One: talk to him, see what’s going on. Or two: break up with him before he does”
Leann ponder this for awhile then sighed. She open her mouth to say something but close it. Finally she said, lamely, ” I don’t know”.
Sam groaned. Obviously annoyed that it took Leann that long to say only three words.” Fine! Then just do both. Asks what’s wrong then break it off!”
” Sam!” I hiss. She gave me a warning look.
” Don’t you dare start giving me a lecture!” she said loudly. ” i have not been on a date for a long time! Nor have I kiss anyone!

Sam then said,” As one of your best friends, I advise that you tell Todd you want a break. It could give you guys some time to think and maybe make a decision”
Leann was silent. It was a hard choice but she made one. She got up and left the room, but before the door could close fully, I heard her say ” Todd?…..
Sam twirl to me. ” I don’t know what to do with you”
I let out a grateful sigh. ” Good”.
” But, I think you should choose. Jamie, do you really know Andrew? Aren’t you just jumping to conclusions when Andrew said he likes you? Think about it. It came down on you when you were’ thought’ you should break up with Dean. You guys haven’t been on your third date, yet”.
” Think clearly. You haven’t talk to Andrew before and now all of a sudden he likes you? It doesn’t work that quick. Now about the break up with Dean. Why? He’s your first boyfriend. Make it work, of course your going to have trust issues or people like Julie will do anything to stop you from being together”.

Sam scoff. ” Please! I’m the experience one! They act like foolish monkeys which a turn-off by the way”.
Leann cracks a smiled. ” Really? So you dated one?”
” Duh!” Sam answered. Then added quickly,” it didn’t last long”.
” Figures” Leann responded. ” None of your relationships last long. Is there a reason for that?

” Where are we going?” asks Leann.
” My house” Sam answered in a duh tone. We continue to stared at her, waiting for a explanation. ” Its where the outfits are”.
” Oh” Leann and I said at the same time. Leann grab her bag as she said” I’ll meet you guys over there!”
” Where you going?” I ask.
” I need to put away my bag” she said with a roll of her eyes
Sam and I look at each other.” Its just you and me” she said. I smiled as I follow her out, locking the door guiding me.
